A close friend of mine lost her Grandma recently and her funeral was yesterday. Although our thoughts and prayers go out to her family, this Lady was always very sweet to both myself and my girls, so we will miss her too. I have always been very close to my own Grandma, so I can really relate to what my friend is going through right now.
I love butterflies and all that they symbolize so I often use them on sympathy cards. When I was making the card for my friend's family, I made several and put a butterfly on every one. I also used a non-SU stamp for the inside sentiment, which I rarely do, but the saying is so appropriate at this time of loss.
